Meet Gale Mussleman

Gale Mussleman was born and raised in Forest, Ohio located in Hardin County. Graduated from Riverdale HS and then attended Ohio Northern University where he majored in pharmacy. He graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He began work as a pharmacist in 1987 with SupeRx Drugs in Lancaster, Ohio. In 1995, he began a 9 year stint with Medco Health in Columbus, Ohio. While working at Medco Health, he met his wife Jill Vaughn. They were married in March of 2000 and Gale moved to Delaware, Ohio. From 2005 through 2015, Gale worked in Delaware in the independent pharmacy sector for such companies as The Medicine Shoppe, Buehler’s Pharmacy, and Ritzman Pharmacy. In February of 2016,  Buehler’s Foods and Ritzman Pharmacy closed in Delaware, Ohio. Gale accepted a position with CVS and was employed in Lewis Center, Ohio until his departure in late August to open Gale’s Pharmacy.

Gale had always wondered if pharmacy ownership was possible or just a dream that would never be realized. He saw the closing of Ritzman Pharmacy as an open door. Gale truly believes that Delaware, Ohio needs an independent pharmacy presence.

Gale and Jill see this as an opportunity to serve “their neighborhood as well as the entire city of Delaware and the surrounding communities.” Gale believes that the combination of faith, health, and family will truly aid in the betterment of an individuals’ health.

Gale is active at Grace Baptist Church of Delaware, Ohio. He is an avid distance runner and also enjoys walking, biking, golf, hunting, and reading. Gale and Jill have four grown children and three grandchildren. They look forward to serving both old and new friends at their new location in Georgetown Center at the corner of West Central Avenue and Troy Road.
